I was never married before and this is my first marriage, I wanted to plan the best wedding shower ever. I needed help, so I asked my sister if she would like to help me plan it. She said yes and was as happy as I was. I know there is a lot of work to be done when planning a shower and I was eager to get started. I always was good at planning showers, so I knew I could make this wedding shower a success. I didn’t have a lot of time and I knew I better get started with the planning.
My sister and I looked for a hall big enough to fit all of my guests. We found one and it was near my house. We started looking on the web for decorations and gifts. We saw so many themed wedding shower ideas that were cute. I finally found all my decorations and purchased all the gifts I needed for the wedding shower. It was time to find the shower favors. There was a big variety to choose from. I took a lot of time looking because of all the awesome shower favors. I saw this cotton handkerchief and knew right away that this is what I am going to give my guests. This made me decide that I wanted one for myself on my wedding day. I found a silk handkerchief that was so gorgeous. I was positive that my family and friends would like the men’s handkerchiefs. I decided to go with a men’s handkerchiefs as a wedding favor for all my guests.
Everything was turning out. The hall was reserved and we bought the decorations, gifts, and wedding favors. I had to decide what type of food I was going to get for my wedding party. I thought about catering it in, but that was expensive. I looked through all my recipes and found some great dishes that I and my sister could make in no time. Our local bakery makes cakes for showers, so that is who we ordered it from. All the planning was finished. I picked out these gorgeous invitations and mailed them. All we had to do was wait until the day of the shower.
The day finally arrived and we went to hall to set up the shower. It did not take long to decorate the hall. When we were done decorating the room, we couldn’t get over how awesome the room looked. Luckly I bought my camera with me because I wanted to remember how gorgeous the room looked. The tables each had a centerpiece on it and the cake was put on the same table where we but the food. Each setting had a cotton handkerchief. The minute you saw the room, you would say how beautiful it looked.
I had such a good time with my family and friends after they arrived. We all enjoyed each other’s company. We had fun playing games and eating. My guests talked about how much they enjoyed getting a handkerchief. It was amazing to see how many gifts I did get. It made me sad when the shower was ending, because I really enjoyed myself and my guests did to.
When it was time for my guests to leave, they commented how much of a good time they had and were happy to get the handkerchief. I was so happy that I picked the handkerchief for my wedding favors. My shower was a success and will be in my memory always. I also am grateful that I had my sister to help me plan my wedding shower. It made me feel good that she was by my side through this. That is the reason she is my maid of honor.
