We picked January for the wedding day since I have always wanted a wedding that had a winter motif. There are so many beautiful accessories and reception supplies to make the perfect wintery wedding dream come true. To express our gratitiude for their coming to our special day, we got our relatives and other loved ones champagne bottles favors and matching toasting flutes. When you looked at our reception tables, all you could think of was the pristine majesty of the wintertime. Our three tiered wedding cake sat on a unique little sled designed cake stand and had a topper that was a porcelain snowflake to complete our winter wedding cake. Our cake serving set was also a winter themed accessory I found while shopping online. There was an icy blue shade to the handles which was accentuated with white snowflakes. It fit in seamlessly with the pen and guestbook set I had purchased.
The artwork on the the cake serving utensils and the guestbook was identical to that on the champagne toasting flute, and they all looked brilliant. They had the little snowflakes and were done in white and icy blue colors and were really exquisite with all the other winter themed accessories on our wedding table. Our reception guests loved the place card holders and other gifts that they received, and the look of the tables was to die for. The little flower girl seemed happy with her necklace we got her for a thank you gift, plus she got to keep the little tiara she wore in the wedding ceremony. Our ring bearer was excited because he got his own tee shirt and a yo-yo made of stainless steel. I got my maid of honor a bracelet made of crystal, and all of my bridesmaids received tank tops with their names written on them in small crystals. My fiance took care of shopping for the guys. He bought a best man mug and a neat pen set for the best man, and everyone else received a battery-operated digital clock. It was pretty obvious by the way everyone was laughing and dancing that they were really enjoying themselves at our wedding reception, a quite a few of them thanked us for the lovely gifts we had bought for them as wedding favors.
Everything at our wedding and reception was fantastic and I owe it all to the wonderful selection of accessories and supplies I found online. The prices that we found on the Internet were so good that we saved a significant amount of money by looking there. I not only found things for our wedding, but they also had items I could use on our honeymoon. Like the bride and groom hats and tee shirts and the cute little door hanger pillow that says do not disturb. The decorative little pillow really came in handy.

I really enjoyed the convenience of shopping online and having all my supplies delivered to my door, saved me the trouble of running all over town. She was right, I even found the perfect wedding invitations to send out, and some other accessories, all at reasonable prices. There was also quite a few other items that I was able to get at a discount. I saved on items like wedding tiaras for my bridesmaids, flower girl, and also bought my bridal tiara, flower girl basket, flower petals and checked out some great ring bearer pillow wedding suggestions. I was surprised there could be so many styles and designs for ring pillows.
There was all the decorations I needed for my tables. There were elegant choices of candles and glassware to enhance my tables. There was such an assortment of themed wedding and destination wedding ideas, and a great selection of wedding favors too. I chose the gorgeous crystal paperweights as the thank you gifts for our friends and families. They were almost to lovely to put into their favors boxes, but the packaging only added to the tables elegant appearance. I found the perfect cake topper. I think I liked the topper better than I did the cake itself. It really was an especially beautiful cake topper with a lovely butterfly and a satin bow.
Our wedding décor and wedding favors seemed to make quite an impression. A lot of our friends and family thanked me for such lovely wedding favors. But, there’s more to this place than just a wedding ring bearer pillow and cake toppers. They have everything you need for birthdays, showers and bachelorette parties too. My sister just told me the other day that she got all the favors and supplies she needed for my bridal shower at the same place I bought my wedding supplies. Our mom gave her the idea of going online to find everything she needed for my bridal shower she was throwing for me, just like she did for me with my wedding supplies.
In about three and a half weeks I’m giving my sister a baby shower and I already know where I’m getting the decorations, favors and other party supplies from. I already know what supplies and favors I want to order, but I have to do that until some time next week. That’s when she finds out if she is having a girl or boy. Even though there are a lot of neutral colors I could use, I’d rather try to have the décor and supplies in a boy or girl theme.
My mother’s suggestion on shopping by computer really helped out a lot in terms of time and money. Filling out our thank you cards and working out all the reception arrangements was another thing I’m grateful for my mom doing for me. Thanks for all of your wonderful suggestions and all of your help, mom. I promise I’ll keep this place in mind when it’s time for our anniversary parties. They had some very nice ideas for anniversaries, like decorations, cake toppers and even favor gifts for guests. There were some very excellent selections for mom and dad’s 30th anniversary. Me and my sister should look at the possibilities together. It won’t be long before they are celebrating their anniversary, we might as well get an early start on planning.

This is one way of shopping that will come in handy for our anniversary someday. There are great little suggestions for anniversaries, even decorations, cake toppers and little thank you gifts. I saw a lot of lovely ideas for my mom and dad’s 30th wedding anniversary. My sister and I should get together and discuss it. No use waiting until the last minute, it’s not that much longer before they reach their 30th year as man and wife.
Choosing the Right the wedding album!
Monday, November 30th, 2009I started shopping for my themed accessories and supplies as soon as we were sure we were having a beach wedding. I started with our beach themed wedding invitations. One thing I discovered was to be sure you always buy extra invitations, just in case you make a mistake and have yourself a do over, like I did. With the invitations all done and on their way to our prospective guests, I could move on to picking out the beach wedding dress I wanted for our ceremony. I looked at several dresses and gorgeous full length gowns, but really couldn’t make up my mind. The full length bridal gowns were so beautiful, but I was afraid they may be too uncomfortable for a beach wedding. I picked out a gorgeous spaghetti strapped dress made of satin and lace with beautiful little beads scattered around it, in a knee length.
The bridesmaids wore lovely little linen halter beach dresses with a crocheted bodice covering. My handsome groom wore a sky blue linen shirt and white linen pants and his groomsmen wore white linen shirts with sand colored linen pants. Our flower girl wore an adorable little sundress and the ringboy stayed nice and cool in his little khaki shorts and white cotton shirt. I found the most lovely flower bouquets for the bridesmaids and myself, and the entire wedding party looked absolutely perfect.
I wish now,with all the photos of our wedding being taken, that I would have bought two albums for wedding, instead of only one. I planned to have pictures of all the fantastic decorations at our wedding and reception and photos of every guest that attended. I was sure to let the photographer know I wanted plenty of photos of our vow exchange under our satin canopy and lovely flowered arch. When the ceremony was over, my new husband and I went to our hotel room to change into some more comfortable beach outfits. Some of the bridesmaids and groomsmen wore their swim wear under their wedding clothes, and some went home to change. The guests were informed on the invitations to wear casual clothing.
Our reception was such a big success, and everyone complimented us on our gorgeous wedding accessories and how lovely all of our tables were. There were so many other beach themed accessories to choose from, along with our gorgeous wedding album. The place card holders I chose were these miniature beach chairs that can later be used as photo frames. I think our friends and family thought they were cute, I know I did. I also found the perfect beach wedding favors for our friends and family. The little tea lights I chose were in the shape of miniature sand castles and to help them keep the memory of our wonderful beach reception. There was so many terrific accessories and beach décor for our reception tables and our wedding table. Not only did I find the perfect wedding cake topper, but I also bought their beach themed crystal flutes, wine glasses, cake serving set and so much more.
A lot of our friends and family made comments about out lovely reception décor. To help add to the atmosphere, I also bought some of their beautiful gel candles and placed them on all the tables, along with a few tiki torches here and there. Planning this beach wedding and reception was a lot easier than I thought it would be, with all the accessories and supplies they had. It couldn’t have been a more perfect dream wedding and reception, with the gorgeous ocean as our background and the warm sand under our feet.

Themed Wedding Favors!
Friday, November 27th, 2009I love attending a theme wedding. They truly can be a lot of fun. Last weekend I went to a fantastic wedding and reception. The ceremony and reception was done in country western.
A quaint little country church was the location of the wedding ceremony. They had satin bows and ribbon to decorate the pews and beautiful flower arrangements with candles all around the altar. The baby blue dresses that the bridesmaids and flower girl wore were simply gorgeous, and the flowered hair pieces were a lovely added touch. The tuxes with the white boutonnieres in the lapels made the groomsmen and the little ring boy looked quite handsome. But the real attraction was the beautiful bride and her elegant groom. They were a picure perfect couple. A horse drawn buggy awaited to take the bride and groom to the reception.
The couple were having their reception at the country house they had bought a couple of months before. This was a prime piece of property, with a nice house, a barn and two acres of land. I hate to admit it, but I’m a little jealous of all they have accomplished just starting out.
You could tell she put a lot of effort into planning this reception. Everything was fantastic. Wild flowers centered on each table really gave it that down home look. She did a fantastic job, not just with the décor, but also the themed wedding favors. Around the reception tables it was lit up with lanterns and white christmas lights everywhere. The corn stalks and bales of hay really made this the perfect picture of a down home reception. There were so much set up for adults and kids to enjoy. Some of the kids were bobbing for apples while others were into a wild game of horse shoes, and still others were trying their hand at line dancing. It was great fun for everyone.
Their country western wedding cake topper was very comical and the cake itself was a masterpiece of confection. It was the perfect themed cake topper. I wish I knew where she got those adorable country themed champagne flutes. And on each and every table she had little cowboy hats that were used as place card holders. Everyone thought they were so cute.
There was plenty of delicious foods for everyone at the party. Since they did a lot of grilling, we had our choice of steaks, ribs, and chicken, plus all kinds of salads and vegetables. It was one heck of a cookout. The fun never stopped, we danced, ate great foods, and had a fantastic time. We all had a wonderful time at the country western themed party.
There was another themed reception I went to that was also a lot of fun, it was a beach themed reception. The beauty of a beach wedding is just amazing. The sun setting in the water makes a very romantic scene. With the feel of warm breezes and the sounds of the water, you can feel the romance in the air. If I ever get married, I think this is the type of ceremony and reception I would want to have.
The bridesmaids looke so nice in their linen summer dresses and the groomsmen were quite handsome in their drawstring pants and linen shirts. Her gorgeous crepe bridal dress was as blue as the ocean waters, and his white linen attire made him even more handsome than he already was. This was definitely a dream come true wedding ceremony.
Not only was the ceremony fantastic, but the reception was exceptional too. All the tables were decorated with the beach theme in mind. Seashells, orchids and little starfish placed in a sand filled tray, with a gorgeous white candle on each side, was her centerpieces. She had the most adorable sea shell place card holders and beautiful beach themed champagne glasses on all her tables.
She had everything in a beautiful beach décor, from her wedding cake topper to the wonderful theme wedding decorations she had put together. This was truly a wedding and reception to remember.
