Online shopping for our reception accessories, flower baskets, and ring bearer pillows was my mom’s idea. She said it beats running from store to store and all there is to do is check them out, order the ones I like and wait for delivery. They even had the type of invitations I was looking for, and a lot of discounted items to choose from too. Our invitations weren’t the only thing I saved money on, I also saved on other accessories too. I chose the gorgeous crystal paperweights as the thank you gifts for our friends and families. They were really lovely, so lovely I hated to package them, but the favor boxes were very decorative and added that extra special something to our tables. I found the perfect cake topper. The cake topper was the most exquisite part of our wedding cake. The beautiful satin bow and butterfly just made our cake even more beautiful.

I should listen to my mom more often and maybe she has other ways to find bargains like these in a lot less time than I normally take. I also want to thank her for helping with the reception arrangements and filling out all those thank you cards. You’re really a life saver mom. Maybe I can use this online shopping thing for our future anniversary parties. I saw some pretty nice ideas for anniversary parties, from decorations to anniversary party favors. There were some very excellent selections for mom and dad’s 30th anniversary. Me and my sister should look at the possibilities together. Their 30th isn’t that far away, no use waiting until the last minute.
