I started shopping for my themed accessories and supplies as soon as we were sure we were having a beach wedding. I started with our beach themed wedding invitations. One thing I discovered was to be sure you always buy extra invitations, just in case you make a mistake and have yourself a do over, like I did. With the invitations all done and on their way to our prospective guests, I could move on to picking out the beach wedding dress I wanted for our ceremony. I looked at several dresses and gorgeous full length gowns, but really couldn’t make up my mind. The full length bridal gowns were so beautiful, but I was afraid they may be too uncomfortable for a beach wedding. I picked out a gorgeous spaghetti strapped dress made of satin and lace with beautiful little beads scattered around it, in a knee length.

The bridesmaids wore lovely little linen halter beach dresses with a crocheted bodice covering. My handsome groom wore a sky blue linen shirt and white linen pants and his groomsmen wore white linen shirts with sand colored linen pants. Our flower girl wore an adorable little sundress and the ringboy stayed nice and cool in his little khaki shorts and white cotton shirt. I found the most lovely flower bouquets for the bridesmaids and myself, and the entire wedding party looked absolutely perfect.

I wish now,with all the photos of our wedding being taken, that I would have bought two albums for wedding, instead of only one. I planned to have pictures of all the fantastic decorations at our wedding and reception and photos of every guest that attended. I was sure to let the photographer know I wanted plenty of photos of our vow exchange under our satin canopy and lovely flowered arch. When the ceremony was over, my new husband and I went to our hotel room to change into some more comfortable beach outfits. Some of the bridesmaids and groomsmen wore their swim wear under their wedding clothes, and some went home to change. The guests were informed on the invitations to wear casual clothing.

Our reception was such a big success, and everyone complimented us on our gorgeous wedding accessories and how lovely all of our tables were. There were so many other beach themed accessories to choose from, along with our gorgeous wedding album. We picked January for the wedding day since I have always wanted a wedding that had a winter motif. There are so many beautiful accessories and reception supplies to make the perfect wintery wedding dream come true. From wedding invitations to wedding favors there are all kinds and styles of accessories to choose from for almost any themed wedding you’re planning to have. Our wedding ceremony color scheme was in silver and wintery blue. Our altar had replica snowflakes next to the unity candle and other candles, which all had a wintry look to them. At the reception we had white tablecloths with red table runners on each and every reception table there. I had beautiful white orchids in gorgeous silver vases for our centerpieces and they went so well with the winter décor. The coloring scheme was cool blue and white with a few small snowflakes to match everything else on our table. Actually all the tables were exquisite and our guests were very happy with the wedding favors and place card holders they got to take home with them. The mini tiara our flower girl wore was hers to keep, and we got her a necklace besides, which she was very pleased about. Our ring bearer was excited because he got his own tee shirt and a yo-yo made of stainless steel. I got tank tops with crystals spelling out the word bridesmaid on them for all of my girls, plus I got my maid of honor a crystal bracelet besides. The men’s presents were handled by my groom. He bought a best man mug and a neat pen set for the best man, and everyone else received a battery-operated digital clock. I think everyone was really happy with the thank you favors they received and I think they all had a great time at the reception.
The array of wedding materials I found on the net made our ceremony and reception a dream come true,for both of us. The prices that we found on the Internet were so good that we saved a significant amount of money by looking there. I found supplies for both the wedding and the honeymoon online. They were a picure perfect couple. A horse drawn buggy awaited to take the bride and groom to the reception.
The couple were having their reception at the country house they had bought a couple of months before. This was a prime piece of property, with a nice house, a barn and two acres of land. I hate to admit it, but I’m a little jealous of all they have accomplished just starting out.
You could tell she put a lot of effort into planning this reception. Everything was fantastic. Wild flowers centered on each table really gave it that down home look. She did a fantastic job, not just with the décor, but also the themed wedding favors. Around the reception tables it was lit up with lanterns and white christmas lights everywhere. The corn stalks and bales of hay really made this the perfect picture of a down home reception. There were so much set up for adults and kids to enjoy. Some of the kids were bobbing for apples while others were into a wild game of horse shoes, and still others were trying their hand at line dancing. It was great fun for everyone.
Their country western wedding cake topper was very comical and the cake itself was a masterpiece of confection. It was the perfect themed cake topper. I wish I knew where she got those adorable country themed champagne flutes. And on each and every table she had little cowboy hats that were used as place card holders. Everyone thought they were so cute.
There was plenty of delicious foods for everyone at the party. Since they did a lot of grilling, we had our choice of steaks, ribs, and chicken, plus all kinds of salads and vegetables. It was one heck of a cookout. The fun never stopped, we danced, ate great foods, and had a fantastic time. We all had a wonderful time at the country western themed party.
There was another themed reception I went to that was also a lot of fun, it was a beach themed reception. The beauty of a beach wedding is just amazing. The sun setting in the water makes a very romantic scene. With the feel of warm breezes and the sounds of the water, you can feel the romance in the air. If I ever get married, I think this is the type of ceremony and reception I would want to have.

They had a gorgeous cake with a funny country western cake topper that gave everyone a good laugh. The cutest cake topper I’ve ever seen. The western themed champagne flutes were really unique. And she made place card holders out of these little cowboy hats. I thought that was very creative.

I didn’t have as many problems planning an outside wedding as I thought I would. It wasn’t as expensive as an indoor wedding would have been. Since we had the beauty of nature all around us, it wasn’t too expensive to decorate. The first thing on my agenda was to find that perfect place to hold our summer wedding and reception party. I could have had our wedding ceremony on the beach, with a fun filled beach party reception, or an elegant garden party, but I chose a ceremony and reception in the park. I found there were several great locations that would work out perfectly for an outdoor wedding.

Since I never planned a wedding like this before, I needed all the help I could get. If you’re going to have your ceremony outside, it’s a good idea to have an alternative plan just in case the weather turns on you. A tent was suggested just in case the weather turns out badly.

In our original wedding preparations, we had a lovely canopy set up for the reception and a lovely trellis for our ceremony. I mainly concentrated on the decorations for our wedding table and the reception tables. About all I needed were a extra flowers and my table settings, thanks to the already present beauty of the park. I decided to go with artificial flowers because I didn’t want to have our wedding to be the target of a bee swarm. You couldn’t tell they were artificial they were so beautiful,they looked like the real deal. Although planning wasn’t as difficult a chore as I thought, there were quite a few things to take care of. Even though some summer wedding themes are fantastic, the heat can totally destroy your gorgeous wedding cake.

As far as table décor, I found so many fantastic accessories for our reception. Well, the wedding was beautiful and the reception was just as perfect. Thank goodness the weather stayed perfect throughout the entire ceremony and reception and we never had to put plan B into action. We had a wonderful DJ that I’m sure, kept the music going long after we left for our honeymoon. Everyone commented on what a lovely ceremony and super reception we had. The park turned out to be the perfect place to have our wedding and reception. If we should decide somewhere down the line to have a renewal wedding ceremony, I think I’d like to have it in the park again.
